General Information
1. Where is this school located? How long would it take you to get there from Garnet Valley? How do you feel about this distance?
- It is located in the city of Philadelphia. It is a 40 minute drive by car and requires no extra traveling. I think this is a perfect distance from home since it is a different setting but still close enough that if I needed to come home I can.
- Drexel has 15,498 undergraduate students attending their school. Additionally, they have 8,692 graduate students.
- I am very interested in the lacrosse program, study abroad opportunities, as well as community service organizations.

- Drexel University is the perfect school for internships because they provide a Co-op program which provides drexel students with first hand experience in the real world of all kinds of occupations.
- The campus setting is urban and is located in the city of philadelphia. The whole campus is walkable and there's always a ton of stuff to do. There are many restaurants, workout places, some grassy areas when there is warmer weather, etc.
- Three majors that Drexel University offers that I would like to consider would be a Marketing Major, Technology Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurship.
- Drexel University's job placement rate for graduating students 87 percent.

- Drexel University application deadline is November 1 of your senior year.
- Yes Drexel accepts the common application.
- The SAT requirement is a 1200 and the ACT requirement is a 25.
- The GPA requirements for Drexel is a 3.66.
- For Drexel University you are required to take the ACT or SAT and you can superscore it. Additionally, you need 2 teacher recommendations and one college guidance recommendation. Lastly, you will need to write one personal statement.
- Drexel University would be the “Middle of the Road” for me.

14. Where is the Health Center and/or Counseling Center located and what are the hours? How do you make an appointment at the Counseling Center?
- The health center and/or counseling center is located in two different places, one in center city campus and one in university city campus. The hours are open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you can make an appointment by signing up, which is always confidential.
- The hours for the writing center is Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday: 9 a.m., Saturday-Sunday: limited hours when possible, check schedule. Usually you can just drop in and get help, however, it would be smart to make an appointment in case it is crowded there.
- The academic supports/curricular accommodations that students with special learning needs can receive are alternative format/accessible books and materials. Additionally, you can request note taking services. Lastly, there is plenty of places to go for study hall, where you can get tutored, etc.
